# Your Brand Soul

> The story the agent works from — and what Narrative Accuracy is measured against.

Your **Brand Soul** is the single source of truth for who your brand is: what you stand for, who you're for, how you sound, and the lines you'd never cross. It's the story your AI Shopping Channel Manager works from — so the sharper it is, the sharper everything the agent writes and recommends.

You'll find it in **Settings → Brand Soul**, as one editable document with in-product guidance walking you through it.

## Why it matters

Your Brand Soul does two jobs:

* **It steers the agent.** Every draft, comparison, and recommendation is written to match your positioning and voice — not a generic version of your category. A thin Brand Soul gives you a generic agent; a specific one gives you a specialist.
* **It defines what "correct" means.** [Narrative Accuracy](/guide/your-two-scores) measures whether AI describes you the way you intend — and *the way you intend* is your Brand Soul (plus the key facts on your product pages). Refine your Brand Soul and you refine the standard your brand score is graded against.

## What's in it

The in-product page guides you through it, but in short it captures your **positioning** (what you are, who you're for, how you see your category), your **voice** (how you sound, with examples), and your **guardrails** — the things you'd never say or claim, which the agent treats as hard lines.

## Editing it

You can refine your Brand Soul any time. Changes take effect on the **next run** — the agent picks up the new story and writes to it from there.

  to work from on day one. It's yours to sharpen whenever you like.
